In true Urban Decay fashion, the Hyaluronic Acid Dewy Setting Spray has an undeniable punk-rock flair. Personally, I’m not convinced a setting spray needs to be scented at all, but it’s a playful move by a playful brand. Plus, watermelon was a great choice. Not only is the fruit synonymous with summer, it’s also one of the most hydrating foods you can eat. In terms of skincare, watermelon extract is said to be moisturizing, so it could give an extra boost of hydration.
And if the product itself doesn’t leave you feeling refreshed, one look at Urban Decay’s Instagram feed certainly will. The campaign imagery feels like a big gulp of water, featuring water droplets, juicy watermelons, and bouncing bubbles.
