Osier Wellness: Blending Skincare, Healing & Purpose

When Cheree Ashley speaks about wellness, it’s not through the lens of green juice cleanses or $200 yoga mats. It’s deeper. A full-circle return to self after years of survival mode. And with the launch of Osier Wellness, Cheree is bringing that grounded, healing-first philosophy into the beauty space, one sensitive-skin-friendly product at a time.

After spending over a decade building substance rehabilitation programs on California’s Central Coast, Cheree witnessed firsthand how addiction doesn’t just take an emotional toll. It shows up physically, too.

“From rosacea, puffiness, and dehydration to the effects of skin picking and nutritional neglect, the journey to recovery can also be a journey back to self-love,” she tells The Beauty Brief.

That insight sparked the birth of Osier, a brand named after the willow tree, a symbol of new beginnings. But this is no ordinary skincare startup. For Cheree, Osier is an invitation: “to be a safe, welcoming space where people can reconnect with themselves — mind, body, and spirit.”

Skincare with Soul

Osier’s first chapter is refreshingly simple: a tightly edited duo designed to hydrate, brighten, and restore.

Brighter Days Vitamin C Serum is the glow-getter. A beginner-friendly brightener powered by a gentle 3% concentration of Vitamin C to even tone and fight free radicals. Phyto-squalane (10%) brings deep hydration and helps enhance elasticity, making this silky, weightless serum a dream for sensitive skin types. It absorbs in seconds with zero stickiness.

In our test drive, skin looked smoother and subtly more radiant within days, with brightness that builds over time. Think of it as a daily mood boost for dull, uneven tone.

(Minus the irritation that stronger formulas can bring)

Paired with The Recovery Ceramide Cream, the duo delivers calm, comfort, and barrier support right where it’s needed. This moisturizer is rich in ceramide NP to strengthen the skin’s defenses and phytosphingosine to repair and protect against external stressors. An amino acid complex (5%) supports natural skin rejuvenation, while squalane (6.5%) balances oil production and enhances texture.

The result? Skin that feels soft, replenished, and resilient. With a creamy-but-lightweight finish that never feels heavy or greasy. In short? It feels like a hug for your face.

Cheree personally spent a year testing the formulas on her own sensitive skin before launch.

“I chose to work with Korean manufacturers because of their reputation for clean, vegan, and cruelty-free skincare,” she says. “I wanted something accessible, something that worked for beginners or those just stepping into skincare for the first time. And these products deliver just that.”

Beyond Beauty: A Movement Rooted in Healing

But make no mistake: Osier isn’t here to simply sell serums.

“Osier is more than just skincare. It’s a wellness movement,” Cheree emphasizes.

Where wellness is often packaged as aspirational (and sometimes intimidating), Osier brings it back to basics: drinking water, moving your body, tending to your skin, and reclaiming your reflection. All without shame.

“I wanted to strip back the intimidation and offer something gentle, nurturing, and effective,” she says. The brand’s messaging is as much about rebuilding confidence as it is about restoring skin barrier function.

And true to her roots, Cheree has built Osier with purpose baked in. The brand’s giving back initiative supports individuals battling substance abuse and mental health challenges, ensuring that every purchase has a ripple effect beyond the bathroom shelf.

The Underdog with a Dream

Cheree’s story is the stuff of quiet grit. At 24, she launched her first rehab center with no loans, no investors, and no safety net. Just vision and determination.

“It felt impossible,” she recalls. But through passion, perseverance, and community, she built a multi-location program that’s helped thousands reclaim their lives.

Now, as she steps into the beauty and wellness space, Cheree embraces her role as the outsider. “I’m not an aesthetician. I’m not a beauty insider. I often feel like a small fish in a vast ocean. But I’ve been here before: an underdog with a dream.”

Her dream? To grow Osier into a full-fledged wellness brand, expanding into clean supplements and building a community where people feel safe to ask questions, share, and heal. Inside and out.

“At the end of the day, Osier is about new beginnings — for your skin, your body, and your life.”

And that’s a movement we’re more than ready to get behind.
