Get ready because summer is just around the corner, starting in less than 50 days; yes, you heard us correctly.
Whether that means working on your tan or going swimsuit shopping, we get it. We’re all ready to thaw out and get some extra Vitamin D.
Now, when it comes to summer scents, we know what you’re thinking.
No, another brand didn’t release a coconut scent that's heavy on the chemical side—far from it, actually.
New York-based fragrance brand @Ellis Brooklyn just released Miami Nectar Eau de Parfum.
A warm and spicy scent, Miami Nectar’s top notes are Wild Jasmine, Plumeria, and Lily of the Valley to transport you to a “hot Miami summer, the beach at sunset, art deco pools, and neon lights,” - Sign us up stat!
Available in a pool blue bottle inspired by Miami’s art deco, Miami Nectar is also available in a 1.7-oz bottle for $110 and a 0.33-oz travel spray for $33, perfect for summer travels.
The fragrance also earned the Clean at Sephora stamp of approval, but we’re well aware of how controversial this label is in the beauty industry.
As part of the brand’s go-to-market strategy, Ellis Brooklyn posted a video to social media featuring beautiful ocean and Miami beachfront visuals.
Ellis Brooklyn’s social captions also showcase how this fragrance is devoted to the city of Miami, capturing its essence in a bottle. “Miami is one of these great places that is a really sensual, physically beautiful place,” one caption reads.
As with any scent that captures the vibe of a particular city, not every consumer may relate to or have positive experiences tied to Miami.
But the great thing about this fragrance is that consumers picking it up at Sephora can view it as an elevated tropical gourmand scent that's perfect for summer without associating it with Miami’s culture per se.
Personally, we can’t wait to take a sniff of this luxurious summer scent.
Do you think Miami Nectar will become the ultimate summer scent of 2024?
Feel free to share your thoughts!
