I Know What You Are: A Very Vampy Beauty Collab

Where Have You Been, Loca? Twilight x ColourPop is SOLD OUT

If a Twilight-themed beauty collection wasn’t on your 2024 bucket list, I don’t know what to tell you.

Because it’s here. It’s real. And it’s already sold out.

Colourpop Cosmetics has been teasing this for a while with rather iconic and identifiable campaign imagery that gave us no choice but to know exactly what was coming.

Perhaps some of you have even been thirsting over this one.

At the time of writing this, I happened to be reading Cultish by Amanda Montell, which feels kismet when we think about the type of devotion Twilight fans have for the saga.

Beyond a marketing perspective, from a MONEY perspective, pulling this off was guaranteed to be a major success. The reach extends so far beyond the typical ColourPop coven and if the products serve up quality and pigment to boot? You’ve probably converted more than a few new brand loyalists.

Which is the wonderful intention of collaboration. Fresh blood, if you will. Mutual benefits.

Some collabs feel like pure novelty, but this collection could appeal to both fans and non-fans of Twilight due to its shade range and unique assortment of vampy shades… but only if you can ignore the aggressively novel packaging.

Personally, I don’t have a desire to stare at Edward and Bella lying longingly in the grass while I’m getting ready for the day. Despite living in Seattle, it’s just not the vibe I go for in the AM. But I’m not a morning person. Maybe you’ll love your routine with a side of Twilight.

After taking a look at the MAJOR rollout initiative that’s occurred for this partnership, there’s no denying that the best part was the Twilight movie night for fans.

Attendees received exclusive early gifting at the theater, access to limited edition merch, and the ability to immerse themselves in the entire experience from lip gloss to film.

ColourPop knew what the people wanted and came ready.

And if you’ve always wanted the skin of a killer, now’s your chance.

The cherry on top of this collab is that it’s also COMPREHENSIVE.

ColourPop is giving Twihards OPTIONS, featuring the following limited edition items:

  • Shadow Palette ($24)

  • Like Diamonds Shimmering Oil ($12)

  • Vampire Skin Highlighter ($10)

  • Meadow Highlighter ($10)

  • Team Edward Lux Lip Oil ($11)

  • Team Jacob Lux Lip Oil ($11)

  • Bella Lux Lip Oil ($11)

  • Coven Graphic Eyeliner ($10)

  • Vampire Graphic Eyeliner ($10)

  • Forever Graphic Eyeliner ($10)

And the brand is even offering fans the ability to purchase the entirety of the collection in one fell swoop for under $100. Unfortunately, it’s sold out (as of right now). But ColourPop has already communicated they’re working at vampire speed to get it back in stock ASAP.

As expected, you can buy it from the resellers on eBay if you’re feeling brave.

Do you think this collab is worth the bite?
