Color In-Fuse-Ion By Gaga’s Haus Labs

Skincare with benefits and dewy AF skin continue to go strong in the beauty space. A demand for better innovation with formulations and pigments that truly perform and play nice with skin led to the creation of one of the most texturally satisfying launches we’ve seen in 2024.

With an iconic Met Gala premiere showcasing (and teasing) the new product on Cynthia Erivo via award-winning makeup artist Sam Fine, HAUS Labs was destined to capture our attention with this one. Their Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm has 100% entered the beauty chat, besties.

These originated as serum sticks and still retain more than 70% of their skincare ingredients and properties, but instead of being low impact on the color output, they provide beauty lovers with a vivid, glossy finish.

One of the hero ingredients for the blush balms is Goji Berry, which is the key element to achieve that delightful plumping effect. They also feature fermented arnica to help reduce skin redness and soothe irritation.

As if that wasn’t enough from a literal blush, skin will also experience a major hydration boost upon application.

Retailing for $34 dollars/5g and available on the brand site and retail partner Sephora, this new HAUS Labs launch comes in (8) high sheen shades that provide a glass-skin effect with buildable color.

Other Key Ingredients:

  • Fermented Shiunko = collagen synthesis promotion & antioxidant protection

  • Fermented Green tea = improves skin elasticity

  • Fermented Licorice Root = soothing & brightening properties

  • Plant Squalane = nourishing & softening

  • Vitamin E = helps with oxidative stress

Upon first glance at the super shiny finish, one might assume that it might slide right off your face, but these blush balms are formulated to be long-wearing and fade-resistant. They can also be used on both cheeks and lips, which supports the ongoing multi-functional trend in the beauty space.

Additional Callouts:

  • Non-sticky

  • Non-comedogenic

  • Hypoallergenic

  • Dermatologist tested

  • Fragrance-free

  • Talc-free

The content rollout to support the Color Fuse Balms has been major and the mix of it is a big factor in driving the key points home. From innovation highlights, consumer study results, and ingredient benefit education, to yummy texture shots, on-skin examples, and creator-made videos. It’s checking off the many boxes we like to see in order to understand a new launch’s validity.

Reviews are coming in at almost 5 stars across the board and the majority of discontent with the product seems to be a matter of personal preference more than anything else. If you’re oily or dislike the general sensation of dewiness on your face, this obviously won’t be your blush of choice. Those with normal to dry skin types and mature skin? Definitely add this to your try lists.
