Westmore Beauty has successfully made a name as a brand that truly caters to all. From recognizing all-age makeup lovers to offering diverse body care products.
Now, their new Supreme Balm launch covers the multipurpose base.
With over a centuries long experience in makeup and hair (that’s not an exaggeration. Google George Westmore) the family-named company has had more than enough time to make themself stand out in this vast world of beauty.
The Supreme Balm made its debut 6/21 on QVC before it was released on the official Westmore Beauty site. Actress and Owner McKenzie Westmore appeared on the shopping network to discuss the evolution of the brand her great-great grandfather, George Westmore, created using today’s technology.
The QVC partnership shared the special offer retailing the Supreme Balms in Natural Sheen and Sunlit Bronze as a set for $42 (3 payments of $14) through the 4th of July.
Before the end of the broadcast, there were over 3,500 orders placed with QVC for the special. It also doesn’t hurt to mention that McKenzie walked away with her fifth Customer Choice Beauty Award.
Everything about the packaging is an homage to the original House of Westmore dating back to the 40s. Its straightforward simple packaging with a baby blue twist top stayed away from their signature deep purple.
McKenzie also proudly mentioned “they don’t settle into fine lines like powders” and wanted this to be our “one and done and out the door” beauty routine product. An observation 98% of users agreed with in a company-sponsored perception study.
At first glance, you’ll notice the Supreme Balm seems very minimal with only (3) shades to choose from. Sunlit Bronze is a rich cocoa shade, Rose Flush stays true to its name, and Natural Sheen is reminiscent of a ballet slipper. Each is vastly different with promises of complimenting all skin tones, but we only see it on two models: one Black and one White.
A demo shows the texture to stay true to its shea butter base. It’s soft enough to apply using your finger and the heat from rubbing it into your skin warms the product turning it into a sheer buildable cream.
So how do you use it?
The easiest way to answer is: any way you want! Because you have options between (3) various shades, you have the ability to mix and match their uses. Natural Flush could be your choice highlighter and eyeshadow base while using Sunlit Bronze in the creases and as a contour. Rose Flush creates a soft blush on your cheeks as well as the perfect pouted tint for your lips.
The models’ soft looks prove, you’re not getting super pigmented products that make a dramatic glam look. The idea for most of Westmore’s face makeup is to enhance. Even the Supreme Creme foundation prides itself on giving an “airbrushed skin-like finish.”
It feels like Westmore Beauty made this product just for this season to stand up against the heat for 8-hour long wear. If you can relate, you’ll love this balm’s lightweight formula retailing at $34 for 0.68-oz.
