Insanely Clean is Transforming Men's Skincare (& We're Jealous)

Updated: Aug 10

We like our men insanely clean!

Remember all those times you’ve rolled your eyes watching your boyfriend, brother, or guy friend fumble through their skincare routine (if they had one at all)?

Well, enter Insanely Clean, a new men's skincare line that's so good you'll be tempted to "borrow" it.

As a beauty-obsessed girl who's seen it all, I gotta say I’m truly impressed with the two SKUs the brand launched with.

But first things first, let’s talk about how Insanely Clean came to be. With 13 years in the beauty business, Judah Abraham saw firsthand how lost our guys were in the world of serums and moisturizers. Instead of laughing (like we may have done), he decided to do something about it.

The result? A line of products so straightforward, even your "bar-soap-is-enough" brother might actually use them.

Now, let's dive into the goods. Insanely Clean launched with just two products, and honestly, I'm a little offended at how simple yet effective they are. They feel luxurious!! I am surprised, though, that the brand launched without a moisturizer… an interesting strategy.

There's the Day 'N' Nite Face Wash ($21), which is basically a spa in a bottle. It lathers up like a dream, rinses clean, and leaves my skin feeling fresh without that tight, "I just washed my face with sandpaper" feeling. My only gripe is that I don’t like the twist-tube packaging. I would have preferred a typical tube you have to open and shut all the way for sanitary and waste purposes.

Then there's the Instant Moisturizing Mist ($23)—a spray-on hydration hero perfect for post-shave soothing or midday refreshes. It does have a scent but isn’t overly perfumy. That being said, I hope the brand releases a fragrance-free option in the future because the mister is just divine!

Together, they form the Essential Kit ($39), which is basically foolproof skincare for dummies (sorry, not sorry, guys).

Insanely Clean teamed up with top chemists in South Korea (you know, the skincare capital of the world) to create formulas that actually work. They've packed these products with apothecary herbs and essential vitamins that they claim cater specifically to men's skin needs.

What really gets me is how Insanely Clean is making skincare cool for guys. They're not using cheesy "manly" marketing or trying to convince men that skincare is only for special occasions. Instead, they're making it as normal as brushing teeth. The brand's vibe is urban trendy, targeting Gen Z teens and college guys who are just figuring out that, yes, they too can have a glow-up.

And get this—they're not stopping at face care. Word on the street is that Insanely Clean plans to release body washes, deodorants, and shampoos in 2024.

So, ladies, here's the deal. While we've been hoarding our 10-step routines and jade rollers, Insanely Clean has been quietly revolutionizing men's skincare. It's simple, it's effective, and dare I say, it's making skincare sexy for the guys. Am I a little jealous? Maybe. Will I be not-so-subtly gifting this to every man in my life? Absolutely.

In the end, if Insanely Clean can turn our skincare-resistant men into glowing, confident versions of themselves, I'm all for it. Just don't be surprised if you find these products mysteriously migrating to my side of the bathroom counter.

After all, good skin is good skin, no matter who it's marketed to!
