Gwyneth Paltrow Launches Skincare Line at Target

A More Luxuriously Accessible Goop?

If we’re being honest, Gwyneth Paltrow has always been the moment. From her coveted 90’s style to sharing a very vulnerable pandemic confession of consuming bread, she’s someone people either love or love to hate, but regardless of how you feel about the Goop founder, she’s captivating, and her ski trial is proof.

Part of Paltrow and Goop’s intrigue has always been an aura of slight inaccessibility.

Aspirational.

Luxurious, but quietly so.

While some seem confused by her next play, I find it savvy.

When we think about chic people’s love for high and low and consider which mass retailer would best fit this description, Target is absolutely what comes to mind. Infamous for its high-end collaborations, this feels like a smart bet.

Now enter good.clean.goop. Available at Target and on Amazon, more consumers than ever before will be able to get their hands on Goop goods at a price point the average income will more easily be able to manage.

Nothing within the new product portfolio is above $40.

Consisting of 14 pieces total, you can try out skincare, body and hair care with the Goop seal of approval. And yes, the diffusion line is still quality, but we can expect lower amounts of actives in these formulations.

The packaging is simple and clean. This tells the perfect story of what Paltrow intends for the collection she describes as a perfect solution for those looking for affordable, trustworthy, and effective clean beauty products.

Thoughts on Goop’s new line?

Will you be testing it out or splurging for the OG assortment?
