Pamela Anderson X Sonsie Skincare
Pamela Anderson has always been a beauty icon.
But in recent years, she’s taken a different approach to her beauty routine that’s reminded us of the true power of the makeUNDER… and, as a result, how lovely it is to find peace within oneself.
The relationship our inner beauty has with the way we show up “externally” is an important but challenging one, especially for women.
Ageism continues to stay prevalent, and “beauty standards” have never been more complex to navigate.
While many may have failed to see just how much Miss Anderson brings to the table historically, she is serving up stripped-down authenticity and reclaiming her own narrative.
After arriving at both Paris Fashion Week and the London Fashion Awards fully fresh-faced, a venture into the world of skincare feels spot on for the businesswoman’s next move.
Enter Sonsie.
Originally founded by Marie von Behrens-Felipe and Roberto A. Felipe in June of 2023, the brand set out to focus on simplifying skincare with an emphasis on ethical consumption.
The minimalist line only consists of 3 products:
The Multi Moisture Mask
The Super Serum
The Basic Balm
This curated collection provides a sustainability packaged routine designed to keep skin hydrated and naturally glowing.
In line with Anderson’s new less-is-more approach, she’s now on board as co-founder and owner of the Sonsie brand.
There’s no denying that her strategic presence is sure to produce a whole new audience for Sonsie and its mission, which includes raising awareness of “holistic beauty and self-empowerment.”
Anderson has inspired many with her vulnerability as she redefines what beauty means for herself.
Radical self-acceptance is not easy to achieve, but when we see more women showing up unapologetically as themselves, it can start to heal many of the things that have been deeply troubling within our culture when it comes to aging and unrealistic expectations of women overall.
It goes without saying that we LOVE Pam here at The Beauty Brief.
She’s stolen our hearts collectively once again with her own personal renaissance, and while not technically a new product launch, we view the addition of Miss Anderson as co-founder at Sonsie as a rebirth of the brand.
And marketing gold.
After reading her memoir and soaking up the scenes of the documentary Pamela, A Love Story, the announcement of her joining Sonsie included a cohesive dreamy, natural aesthetic that blends seamlessly with the brand’s existing visuals.
We can’t wait to see what’s next for both Pam and Sonsie.
