Bright on a Budget? Good Molecules Launches Vitamin C Serum

Good Molecules is a skincare brand that launched in 2018 and quickly gained a loyal customer base, particularly at Ulta Beauty.

From its emphasis on key ingredients to its affordable prices, the brand has always stood out to me as a competitor to Deciem's The Ordinary, but with more colorful packaging.

Good Molecules' Niacinamide Brightening Toner and Hyaluronic Acid Serum have received high ratings and are deservedly bestsellers.

However, one core product was missing from the brand's line-up until now - a Vitamin C Serum.

Incorporating a vitamin C serum into your skincare routine is crucial because vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can help protect your skin from free radical damage caused by environmental stressors like UV exposure and pollution.

It also helps brighten the complexion, fade pigmentation and dark spots, and stimulate collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

After teasing the launch of their Vitamin C serum, the brand unveiled all the details about this must-have topical, which, like all Good Molecules products, is super affordable.

With a silky, lightweight consistency, this serum contains two advanced forms of Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Glucoside and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate) at 8.0% to help prevent early signs of skin aging and improve the skin's overall appearance.

It's also formulated with 1.0% Kojic Acid Ester to help even the skin's tone and fade the appearance of sun spots, as well as 1.0% Oryzanol, a powerful antioxidant found in rice bran oil, which helps boost Vitamin C and promote a brighter complexion.

The brand is doing an excellent job educating consumers about incorporating this Vitamin C Serum and explaining the science behind it in an easy-to-understand way. Well done, Good Molecules' social team!

One concern with more affordable Vitamin C serums is the quality. To address this, the brand makes it clear that the airless pump packaging maximizes formula efficacy by preventing oxidation.

I was particularly impressed with the serum's consistency—it leaves the skin looking glowy and radiant.

Overall, if you're looking for an affordable Vitamin C serum, this one from Good Molecules is definitely worth trying!
